This issue first appeared three months ago in PDF format. The Prairie Wind comes out three times a year, on January 15, May 15, and September 15. At those times it is available only in PDF format and only for SCBWI members. Three months later it becomes open to all on the SCBWI-Illinois website. If you With this issue the Prairie Wind alters its timetable and its mode of delivery. SCBWI national rules limit distribution of chapter newsletters to members only for the first three months. Hence, the Prairie Wind will be available only in PDF form and only to members for the first three months. Afterward the issue will be available to SCBWI-IL is fortunate to have such a large group of talented and committed writers who are willing to donate their time and expertise to the Prairie Wind. This means that when one writer is ready to step down as a columnist—usually due to personal and professional commitments—another writer is waiting in the wings to step in.
