tophat Pam Todd

Pamela Todd
Pam Todd is the author of THE BLIND FAITH HOTEL (Margaret K. McElderry Books, Simon and Schuster, 2008), a coming-of-age novel about 14-year-old Zoe’s struggle to cope when her mother takes her kids away from their father, an Alaskan fisherman, and moves them to a run-down farmhouse she’s inherited in the Midwest. A brush with the law lands Zoe in a work program at a local prairie preserve, where she meets a wild boy who shares her love of untamed places.

"Zoe’s story is so beautifully written, that you find yourself loving her for her devotion to all things wild and wonderful, including her father and Ivy, even while you’re wishing she could face up to a few useful realities. A fascinating reading experience." - Zilpha Keatley Snyder, three-time Newbery Honor Medalist and author of THE EGYPT GAME
