June Sengpiehl writes story picture books, chapter books, articles and poems for the children's market.
Her work has appeared in the following magazines: High Adventure, On The Line, Happiness, Nature Friend and Club Connection. She also writes and sells articles to the adult market. Her work has appeared in both secular and religious markets. Many of the articles deal with family life.
She is a Toastmaster and has achieved the ATM-Silver which is the second level of advanced speaking.
PRESENTATIONS:
June is willing to work in groups or classes from K to 8th grade. Each presentation can be adapted to your needs.
FAIRY TALES. The writing of fairy tales and fractured fairy tales are discussed in this presentation.
HOW TO GIVE A TALK. This presentation includes techniques of speaking and gives children an opportunity to speak briefly.
STORYTELLING. This presentation will discuss various aspects of storytelling and will discuss some areas of children's books. It will also include some of her writings and published historical articles.
