Barb Rosenstock
Barb Rosenstock often pretends to live in the past, although she’s thankful for indoor plumbing, internet access and microwave popcorn. She’s lived her entire life in the Chicagoland area growing up fascinated by old places, old people and old musicals. After college she had a long career in advertising and marketing for a variety of Chicago agencies and then left the corporate world to become (in order) a mother, a teacher and a children’s writer. Barb lives in the northern suburbs of Chicago with one husband, two school age sons and two big poodles.

Barb's writes children’s picture books with a focus on creative nonfiction. She is currently working on a middle grade novel in addition to a number of new picture books.
