tophat Aaron Reynolds

Aaron Reynolds Aaron Reynolds is the author of many picture books and graphic novels for kids. Aaron's presentations are hilarious and highly interactive. He has a blast doing author visits, and keeps the action hands-on and fun for all ages, pre-school through 8th grade. His programs might involve anything from cooking up a spicy salsa that would turn Rachel Ray green with envy, to helping kids create their own graphic novel. But he always saves time for reading his books, filling kids in on all the behind-the-scenes of creating great books, and answering their every question.

Aaron's picture books include:

CHICKS AND SALSA FIESTA! - Aaron reads from his critically acclaimed picture book, Chicks and Salsa, makes salsa and guacamole with the kids, and participates in a question and answer brainstorm about how picture books get made. The fiesta wraps up with a final reading of the book, audience-participation style! Highly interactive and perfect for younger elementary kids, grades K-3. Preschool groups too!

GRAPHIC NOVEL INFESTATION! - Aaron introduces kids to his newest graphic novel series, Joey Fly, Private Eye. Kids will discover the surprising facts behind how graphic novels are made, have a chance to ask questions, and even work with Aaron to create their own graphic novel.
