- I love talking about writing. Let’s be honest - my knowledge and wit are lost on my dog.
- I’ve got loads of writing experience from three published books to over 45 magazine articles and stories, non-fiction and fiction, and even served a short stint as a teen advice columnist! Honest!
- I was a teacher before a writer so I can handle a roomful of kids, no problemo.
ONE BOOK, ONE SCHOOL, ONE (FREE!) AUTHOR VISIT
By far my most popular school visit package! Choose and order one of my books for your school, class or group to read. Then on “Celebration” day, I will come in at no charge and host a combination of the following activities: Author Talk, Student Quiz Show, “Insider Info” Power Point presentation (with photos of places and people who inspired parts of my book), Student Skits, Q&A session, Book Signing and Lunch with the Author. It’s a great way to build a sense of intra-school community, promote literacy and add richness and depth to your students’ reading experience.
