Growing a Book - From Idea to Publication
Starting with early drafts and preliminary sketches, Janet guides students
through the process of writing , revising, selling and producing a picture
book.
Janet Nolan has a B.A. from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington,
and a master's degree in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of
Illinois at Chicago. She currently serves as Program Co-Chair for the Illinois
chapter of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).
