BOOKS:

The love of story is part of Mary Jane's heritage. One of her earliest memories is drinking tea with her Irish grandmother. When Mary Jane and her brother would finish their tea, their grandmother, Margaret Mary, would tell them tales of Irish folklore. The stories would take shape as Margaret Mary read the tea leaves.

Mary Jane's stories, like a quilt, are woven piece by piece from an experience, a particular place, a question, a feeling, a dream, a memory.
