Jennifer Kohnke
has been a freelance editorial illustrator for the Voice of the People
section of the Chicago Tribune since 2004. She is also syndicated through
Tribune Media Services, newsart.com, and her OpEd illustrations are featured
in newspapers throughout the United States. Jennifer is a graphic designer
and illustrator of both children's books and textbook spot illustrations
plus cover art. She is employed full-time at the Tribune as a Cartographic
Designer. Based in Chicago (specifically Rogers Park), she has two daughters, two granddaughters, one son-in-law and three cats. Jennifer received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her illustrated children's books are available on amazon.com: Hunter Bunny Saves Easter and Hunter Bunny Learns to Ski. Both are authored by Alexis Rae Weaver. Jennifer writes too and had her story, "The Pooka of Allihies", published in the March 2001 issue of Cricket Magazine.
