As the former poetry editor for Wee Ones Magazine, a book reviewer and
author of four picture books and over sixty pieces of poetry, fiction
and nonfiction for magazines,
Kim draws from her experiences
in all of these areas to provide inspirational and educational workshops
for children of all ages.

One Writer’s Journey
Kim shares her personal journey on her pathway to publication.
Poetry Clinics
Kim works with teachers to design just the right poetry clinic for each
grade level. She provides instruction and examples of form and engages
students in exercises to enhance their own poetry writing skills.
What To Do With The Writer In You
Kim shares writing tips, explains the business side of publishing and
provides many examples of publishing opportunities for children and
teens. This workshop can also be modified for adults who are interested
in writing for children.

Fees
- Full Day ( 4 / 1 Hour Sessions) $400 plus mileage and lodging if applicable
- Half Day ( 2 / 1 One Hour Sessions) $200 plus mileage and lodging if
applicable
Kim lives in central Illinois. She does not charge mileage to any school
or library within 50 miles of her home.
