This explains the enormous props she totes around to school visits, including a 5 ft toothbrush, an enormous dirty sock, a huge tennis ball and other very odd items. It also explains the laughter from the kids during her presentations. Reading and writing should be joyous and fun experiences for kids, and Andrea tries to reinforce this idea through the use of humor in her presentations.
